Originally called Artistic Ornamental Iron Works until renamed in 1993, Artistic Iron Works was founded in April of 1951 by Dominic Rizzuti Sr. His brother Sam Rizzuti joined him later. As the business grew, Dominic's three sons Louis, Dominic Jr. and Rocco joined the family business. Originally located at 214 S.E. Hartford in Des Moines, the business site moved in 1985 to its present location at 519 SE 4th Street in Des Moines, as the demand grew for work.

We are now celebrating over 50 years of business. We would like to thank our customers and the Des Moines community for sharing and contributing to our success.
